Senior judges of the Supreme Court on Sunday praised Chief Justice (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi for properly resolving the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute and delivering a verdict on a very sensitive issue. The next named Chief Justice of the country S.K. a. Bobde said that Justice Gogoi's patience, courage and character are so strong that it is difficult to get anything wrong.Cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and directed the Central Government to allot a five-acre plot to build a mosque to the Sunni Waqf Board.
CJI Gogoi refused to comment on this decision. He said during the program, "I do not want to talk on any controversial issue." This is not the right opportunity. On the other hand, Justice Bobde said, "I consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Justice Gogoi, whose patience, courage and character are so strong that it is difficult to go wrong." During the release of the Assamese edition of 'Courts of India: Past to Present', Justice Bobde said, "Today we are here to accept and celebrate its legacy and achievement." Apart from Justice Bobde, another senior judge Arun Mishra said that Justice Gogoi has given a decision on the 'most important indecision' before the country.
